BrowseAtWork is a pretty basic extension for the Mozilla Firefox browser. It allowed users to view links and pages with the web proxy service provided at browseatwork.com via the context menu.
This really represented my first experiments with XUL and JavaScript outside of basic web programming. Initially, the extension was a success. It worked correctly and looked pretty good.
Unfortunately, the web proxy service itself was discovered by all of the major content filters and promptly blocked.
At that point, the extension was rendered pretty much useless. Needless to say, I got fed up with people moaning on Mozilla's pages about how useless I was since the proxy it was originally coded to use was now blocked.
Feature development has ceased. I will continue to maintain compatibility with the latest shipping version of Firefox, and the extension currently offers full support for Firefox 3.
